About Me

I’m a Software Developer specialized in 3D Computer Graphics , Web Development and Consultant.

Previously core developer at Pilgway/3D Coat (One of the major commercial digital sculpting professional applications) and Blender. Responsible for very important features and sub-projects like dynamic subdivision sculpting , dynamic topology and re-topology tools, research and implementation of cutting edge modeling technologies and tools.

Since I’ve joined the 3D Coat team we have multiplied the sales and presence in the market and the user base is very happy and actively following all our developments as my strength is to be a creative type of developer, I always look beyond, explore the what-if and researching new algorithms, being an active researches makes me very adaptable gathering new skills on the fly.

Also in Blender, the open source digital content creation suite I’ve pioneered very important major features at the time like volumetric rendering and shading, particle fluid simulations (SPH) for smoke, fire, liquids. Elasticity simulations too, procedural textures, physically based rendering and dynamic subdivision sculpting, all of those projects eventually gather the attention of the core developers and evolved into the current features that Blender has.

I’m especially proud because most of those achievements where done alone, in a country with no internet access and very limited resources, and that’s what eventually brings me here to United States, where I can further evolve, widen my horizons and deepen my knowledge removing resource limitations and solving challenging tasks on problems that are in active research to further grow as a professional.

  2. Hi Farsthary, finally I’ve been able to do a bank to bank transfer. If no bad international rules go into the deal, you should find something on your account within one week. It will not pay your roof, but I hope that it will help you. Keep courage !
    I wish you better days.
    Best regards,
    Philippe.

Lately I have been working on a method to accomplish unlimited clay, and I figured I might as well share what I have with you 😀 I have written a script, in blender that will subdivide sections of a mesh based upon the lengths of the respective edges of said mesh. Maintaining a set spacing between all verts in the mesh. Currently my script will cycle through all the points in the mesh to look for edges that need to be subdivided, but I think with you knowledge of Blender’s coding, there may be a way to bypass this time consuming problem, by only checking vertices that were effected by a brush stroke in the sculpt tools… Here is the thread if you or anyone else wants to take a look at it:

Thank you for looking at my work, and I wish you luck with your current ‘Unlimited Clay’ research 🙂

  5. naturally like your website however you have to take a look at the spelling on several of your posts. Many of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very troublesome to inform the truth then again I’ll definitely come back again.

  6. Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you
knew of any widgets I could add to my blog that automatically tweet my
newest twitter updates. I’ve been looking for a plug-in like
this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience
with something like this. Please let me know if you run into anything.
I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward
    to your new updates.
